After doing a lot of research about this laptop in general, I decided to get this for the battery, OLED display, and the sound quality in a portable package.
A lot about this laptop that a lot of reviewers talk about this mostly good and as you expect. Top of the line speaker quality, solid build construction, great screen hinge hinge tension, thin and light weight, speedy performance, and has a USB A port. However there is a few things I quickly pick up a few bads I have found or became concious about. Below are some of my complaints or things.
    1.
Display: This is a 2.8k resolution OLED screen. Store demos usually only have the 4K models so I tested that before getting this. This display looks really good for the punchy image quality. Great for watching detailed images or movies. IMO not so so much for solid colors. The color shows a little as over saturated to the point where it is hard to tell the find details of deep colored objects.
Another issue I found to the display is when I viewed a blank white screen. This definitely shows a faint screen door effect when you look at the display close enough. I am not sure if this is an issue with 2.8k screens but I dont recall the same with the 4k model. From a far or watching a detailed image, you cant really tell but for me I can tell since I know its always there. . .
The 3rd issue I can think of this computer needs HDR enabled. Without it, colors like the youtube logo would be so over saturated that its too vivid with the color. HDR is great and can be REALLY high brightness, but be warned that too much of it can cause screen burn in.
    2.
Battery: I dont know how reviewers are getting so much battery with the 4k model. I think I can get about 6-7 hours with the most minimum comfortable setting I would set it to with all software settings set to favor battery and turning off uneeded services for web or youtube browsing on Edge. With that, I kind of wish they have an IPS model for this since it would be more to realistic to get a battery life of more than 10 hours.
    3.
Design: The silver chrome shine sides is a very nice touch. However, I find myself trying not to scratch it overtime. You set the laptop down, and the side touchs the chrome side first. Its gonna scratch every time you lay it on a rough surface. Especially on something like a concrete floor. If you put it on tent mode, the shiney end fully touches the surface it rests on. There is no rubber padding or anything to protect it. Imagine sliding it around the table because you keep moving it. Its going to look ugly from the from the front with all the scratches. Just my peeve.

In all, I really like this laptop for what it is able to do. But this model in particular is something I cannot recommend personally. Screen door effect bothers me but you beable to get used to it over time. Color is over saturated, not sure if this is an issue with 2.8k OLED screens. Don’t get this laptop if you need a good screen.

good, functional convertible laptop. Pros: well built and feels sturdy; lightweight; keyboard is better than most thin laptops with more travel in the keys (although still less than for a desktop keyboard); comes with a case; beautiful screen. Processor has handled everything I threw at it quickly. Windows hello facial recognition and fingerprint recognition both work well. Cons: no longer has on laptop storage of pen (although pen is bigger than previous versions); doesn’t have the wow factor that comes with the super thin computers (thinking of Samsung galaxybook pro), but the tradeoff is that it doesn’t feel like the screen will snap in half at any moment. Colors do not really standout. Oatmeal is really just silver with champagne edges. Battery life is pretty poor compared to other laptops in this range

Probably, the best investment outside of Apple products. Due to my grad school course work being more compatible with non Apple product. I had to make this purchase to succeed. Glad, I was able to find a product that is both efficient and stylish.

I use this laptop for college and it has been a dream to use! The only downside would be the battery life but I’m fine with it since I only use it when I’m on campus. One big plus for me would be that it stays pretty cool for me. The only time it overheated was when I was updating it but that was the one and only time since purchasing it.

Very happy with my new Yoga 9i, powerful and responsive and lots of little things that make a difference eg the laptop powers ‘on’ when you open it up.
I am a big fan of lenova and the Yoga series and BestBuy personnel are always helpful and responsive to any questions
