Great camera. I’ve owned the Alpha 7III and this IV is amazing. The materials are different. I would have the say the A7III is a tougher built camera.

If you coming from the A7iii, I think it is an excellent upgrade. The auto focus itself is worth it. Wether if you are shooting video or stills, it just grab on the subject without fail even if you are shooting at f1.2. If you are upgrading from the a6000’s it’s a no brainer.

I have had this camera for 2 weeks and have taken the camera for over 12 different photoshoot. Paired the a7iv with Batis 40mm and a Batis 85mm lens and the results are just amazing. Raw files have so much detail can be edited easily using LightRoom.
Does this camera focus and tracks eye fast… absolutely. Take your creativity to next level.

This is a really great hybrid camera for photography and videography! This is a great all rounder and provides a lot of value for the price. SONY makes great specialty cameras as well so if you don’t need the versatility, I would look at their other cameras. R series for photos and S series for video.
