I’m new to sound bar technology. It does make the tv sound better. Not the “surround sound” I thought I would get. I guess it needs additional speakers for that. This just comes with the bar that goes under the tv and a bigger box speaker for bass. The sales person said I would need a mounting unit to attach it to the tv or wall, otherwise it would need to sit on a console or something. Pleasant surprise is that it came with wall mounts. Since my tv is wall mounted it was perfect. Glad I didn’t purchase a mount before I unboxed it. Pretty easy to set up.
