I was impressed with the looks and the battery. I have gone nearly 2-1/2 days without charging and still have about 20% remaining. The ocean band feels tight on the hand as compared to another band, but I think it is for a reason. I put a case on it because someone told me that the watch will scratch other items in your pocket. It feels heavy but does not feel like it on the hand. Not sure if it is because of the band.The screen size is meaningfully large allowing you to type in responses. Siri will be faster. I dictate and make corrections later, which for me is the fastest. Everything on the watch feels zippy and fast. The action button is getting used more than I thought I would. The extra buttons make it look sporty.

A step forward for Apple. The battery is now an acceptable performer. Prior models would barely make it to 7pm with all my notifications, msgs, emails etc coming in throughout the day. Now getting at least 2 days sometimes more with workouts in between! On low power mode the notifications etc do a great job of notifying within a good amount time without too much of a delay while saving the battery for extended use. I purchased a Garmin earlier in the year because of the battery and the sleep tracking algorythyms. The Apple Watch is now as capable where I don’t know when I’ll need the Garmin. You can’t go wrong with this watch. It’s big but big in a good way and not heavy or intrusive. I’d say go for it.

I have had Apple Watches since the original model was released. I have upgraded twice, most recently to the version 7. When I saw an Ultra open-box return at the local Best Buy, I decided to give it a shot. Coming from the Series 7 I find the Ultra battery life to be incredible, appreciate the programmable side button, and find the flat screen much easier to interact with. I ended up keeping my 7 too (stainless) for dress as the Ultra does not fit well under dress shirt sleeves, the only negative thing I can say about it. Great watch and the best Apple has produced yet!

This watch is soooooooo awesome!!! I love it so much more than my regular Apple Watch. It’s sleek, sturdy and the battery is insanely long lasting. I love it. It also takes all bands from 42mm to 49 mm which means you can have a wider selection of bands in various styles and price ranges. It is great for rough and tough, water and with the right band dress up. It has a safety siren of 85 decibels and satellite location as well as fall detection. Several of my guy friends bought one after seeing mine. It’s also very lite weight. Good for people with medium to large wrists.

When first announced I didn’t think I’d like the size or aesthetics of the Ultra. Once I saw it in person my mind was changed. I love the larger size and screen overall and it’s very comfortable.
As someone who was used to always wearing the stainless steel watch, I don’t notice the weight difference at all AND the regular larger size Apple Watch bands from the 45mm and equivalents DO fit it. I keep seeing articles and videos complain about the price being double the other Apple Watches, but please just keep in mind that’s the aluminum version. If you’re used to buying the stainless steel, they’re the same price as the larger size one. When you consider the Ultra bands are 100 dollars individually, and you get one included with the Ultra, seems fair to me.
