I should have listened to the review. The specs on this laptop say “Touch Screen: Yes” which it certainly is not. I understand there are different “Models” of laptop, so assign the correct specs to the associated laptop. This was a monumental waste of time that I will never get back. Just getting a refund for the laptop will not refund my hours of wasted time. This product needs to be taken down and advertised correctly.

A decent Chromebook but I selected it specifically because it shows as having a touchscreen on bestbuy.com
Will be returning it because the device I got when ordering definitely doesn’t have a touchscreen

I bought two of these during an early Black Friday sale, one for myself and one for my parents. The specs list it as having a touchscreen, but it in fact does not. Additionally, the keyboard is impossible to read unless you’re using it in the dark. The keyboard is silver with vaguely translucent letters. It’s incredibly hard to see what the keys are in the daylight or with room lighting on. The specs say this does not have a backlit keyboard, but it does. Using this in the pitch black with the backlit keyboard was the only way I could easily discern the keyboard keys.
I’m returning both Chromebooks. I’m incredibly disappointed that Best Buy got the specs incorrect – how are you supposed to know what you’re buying when they can’t even get the details correct in the listing? Because of this, I missed out on the early Black Friday deals for other Chromebooks I was considering. Looks like my parents aren’t getting a Chromebook for Christmas.

I bought this on a black friday sale and paid $179 for it . I thought of giving it 4 start because of the keyboard . It is very difficuilt to see the letters in certain light conditions, but for that price it was a good buy. The build Quality is great, its fast and just a great little thing to have.
