Very good price at $255 off and perfect for my retired Mom. This is more than adequate for her to do e-mails, Facebook, video chat, casino games, and web browsing.
The speed, hard drive size & type, and memory size are more than what she needs. I will upgrade from 16GB to 32GB ram if I see a need for it in the future.
This is lighter in weight (about 1lb lighter) compared to her previous laptop.
No backlit keyboard, screen resolution is HD but not full HD, and battery life of about 8 hours. For the price I paid though, this is a very good buy.
Most importantly, my Mom likes this laptop so far. So, she’s happy and I’m happy!

I got it for my crafting business. Had issues with sinking it to my Cricut because of the Reizen 7. Not blown away, but not bad for the price ( got it on sale).

I recently had to switch to Windows OS from my Macbook pro due to some software compatibility issues. I’ve had this laptop for about a week and have been putting it through the ringer to see if it will be able to handle demanding software and multitasking. I was very hesistant to purchase this unit because at the time, it had no reviews. So far this Asus has impressed me in all aspects.

Performance of this laptop is amazing. My main complaint is the screen. I do not how to describe it, but it is somehow not clear, maybe pixelized. Although BestBuy website list its resolution is 1600 x 768 (HD), which does not make sense, the laptop display resolution in the settings is 1920×1200! So, it should be good. I cannot complain a lot because I got it with a deal. But for the original price, I am expecting a better screen.

This Asus laptop checks all the blocks for a basic budget laptop, but outperforms at its 2022 ~$550 price point. Its 16:10 screen is decent and bright enough, tho I didn’t realize its keyboard was not backlit (via the F7 key) and didn’t have a fingerprint sensor type power button- the only real negatives.
