The A11 arrived defective. We had low expectations because we were upgrading from our standard cheap rental dispenser. The water would either come out room temperature or hot. No cold water at all. The cold light indicator, meaning it was cooling the water, never turned off and stayed lit for days. We tried Avalon support, “hard resets”, but their recommendations did not help.

It works smoothy. It dispenses water at a good rate. The complaint I do have is that the compressor is a little noisy. I like the separate switches so you could turn off the compressor and the water heater when you go on vacation.

We didn’t want a water cooler that stood alone as we have young children that would be able to push the buttons. The countertop cooler allows for us to reach buttons to avoid waste or kids playing with it. Also a hot water lock and switches if you don’t want certain features.

Works as advertised. No issues whatsoever. Definitely recommended.
