My XPS-17 is a fine computer except that any movement of a wireless mouse will wake up a sleeping computer — even with the lid closed. This will cause excessive battery drain with the potential for excessive heating if the computer is in a confined space.
The only solution Dell Technical Support could offer was to make sure the mouse is turned off BEFORE putting the computer to sleep.

This is an absolute powerhouse, you can just see from the spec sheet topping out with a 3060 gpu! Now the question you really have to ask yourself is do you need a 17 inch laptop or do you want portablilty? Do you really need a 3060 and if you do are you going to be gaming or rendering video? If you’re going to be gaming I would look elsewhere, but if its rendering this is as premium as it gets!
