I purchased this TV after doing weeks of research. I selected this TV since it had the best specifications in the price range and I wasn’t going to chance another OLED. I previously had 2 OLED TV’s and I experienced burn in problems with both of them. I decided on this one as we watch a lot of sports and movies and also play video games so I wanted one with a higher refresh rate and able to handle the graphics without issue when playing video games. I took the chance on the Hisense, but almost pulled the trigger on a Sony 90K until I read all of the specifications and then compared them in the store. I have to tell you, I am super impressed. This TV is brighter than the OLEDs if that is even possible. The pre-programmed HDR settings work well without much adjustment out of the box. The picture is vibrant and there was not much of a need to fine tune it. However, the regular HD settings out of the box needed a lot of adjustment. The TV is so bright with the mini LEDs, if you don’t tone it down the picture looks a little washed out. However, after much tweaking, I can’t say enough good things about this TV. I have not noticed any motion blur when watching sports or when playing video games. Also I don’t see any blooming. So, I really have yet to find any real flaws. I would recommend this TV to anyone who wants a TV with good performance at a reasonable price.

I got the 65″ U8K and was so impressed with it, I had to get the 55″ for my daughter. We enjoy playing Xbox togther, and now that we’re both rock’n MiniLED, we have sufficiently upgraded our gaming/movie experience, without breaking the bank.
Hers might be the 55″, but the sound is almost identical to the 65″s sound (in terms of beefy bass and Atmos quality). The screen looks just as impressive as well.
I’m looking forward to all the adventures we’re gonna have with these amazing T.V.’s.

After watching untold numbers of YouTube reviews and customer satisfaction indexes, this was my pic of the litter to replace my aging Vizio LCD television, which was extremely poor for a well lit room. This more than makes up for it, even though there are still some reflections on the screen, which unless you spend 2 to 3 times more And still have reflections, it is 150% improvement over what I had before. The difference is, and I’m not overstating this, between night and day, as far as brilliance and picture quality.

This is our third day of using this TV. We delayed installing the TV pending arrival of a table-top stand. Due to the set’s location we had to replace the two feet with a center-post stand. Currently, we consider this to be the best TV we have every owned in more than 50 years. (We run our TV fifteen hours a day seven days a week.) The picture is incredible in a well-lit or dark room. The audio output is wonderful. Plus, this set has an earphone jack allowing us to easily connect it to our 30 plus years old surround/stereo system (top of the line at the time). We only wish the 64-page owner’s manual came supplied in hardcopy and not on-screen/on-line. Overall, well-done HISENSE!

Hisense has done a wonderful job with the U8K. The picture brightness and quality looks great. SDR/HDR content upscales so beautiful. I’m blown away watching movies and sports content like NFL, Premier League, and UFC. The panel can get real bright with the local dimming but maintain the deep blacks I think this is the major advantage over oled panels. Dolby vision looks great also, plus gaming. I purchase a 55 inch for 750 bucks with all these great features. Hisense provides a 2 year warranty. I also bought a 2 extended warrant just in case. I truly believe mini-led is the future. I think it will surpass the oleds in the future.
