I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. He wanted something portable for both the house and travel. Sound is great. Battery life has held up well so far. It’s light enough to be absconded by a 4 year old who desperately wants to test its water resistance. Thankfully we haven’t had to test out that feature just yet.

As evident, the second one is missing and we only have the box as proof. I purchased this for beach tunes. It’s fantastic, but my son claimed it after unboxing. Our family adores JBL. He received one from IBM as a COVID appreciation token. That’s the one pictured with him outdoors. Since he’s not at home, the new purchase is with him, leaving only its box behind

Had the JBL flip 2 or similar, lasted me like 7 years so I knew i was going to stick with JBL, if this one can last as long its worth the money, hits harder obviously than the smaller one but overall it sounds great.

I would love to say how awesome this speaker is… there’s a secret boost mode if you hold the Bluetooth button and volume down button for about 10 or 11 seconds . that thing is so loud you can have a block party. Did I mention that you can Bluetooth to it with two different phones ,you can have multiple speakers paired so music is coming out of all of them at the same time witch is crazy loud

Originally I had the megaboom, but I had it for 3 years and the battery was failing so I needed a new speaker. I did a bunch of research and decided the xtreme would suit my needs. I typically use my speaker when I’m out of the house, at beaches, rivers or parks, the xtreme is loud enough that you have no issues being in the water, slashing about and getting to listen to your tunes. It also an charge your devices! A definite plus but the Lourdes you go the faster the battery dies.
