Levoit is easily the best air purifier I have ever used in my home. With it’s stylish design, easy to read display, detailed app, and ease of use, you simply cannot go wrong.
I have never owned an air purifier that could be programmed to turn on and off at specific times on a schedule and I don’t think I could ever go back.
Once I unboxed and set up the unit, I downloaded the free (VeSync) app and set up my start/stop times, room size, and Alexa integration. Each process was a breeze and the app was clear and easy to navigate. I have mine set up (in my office) to turn on at 6:00pm and off at 11:00pm each day. I have also selected the office square footage so the fan will run at its optimal speed. So far, it has performed exactly as expected and has kept my office fresh and clean. You can view the PM2.5 (particulate matter) reading either on top of the display, or in the app quickly, letting you know how healthy your air quality is at any given moment. From there, you can easily adjust the unit up or down if needed. In my case, I have only had to set up my schedule and room size and it simply takes care of the rest, keeping my number low and my air fresh and clean. I have noticed that when I open the window, the PM2.5 meter will definitely rise, as airborne particles from outside make their way into the room, therefore comforting me in the fact that the unit is actually doing its job. This unit has a plasma function that will detect and eliminate odor as well, so if you have pets and they come into the room, the unit will detect it and clean accordingly. There is even a display lock button included (on the top panel) so the kiddos can’t change your settings! Filter installation is the easiest of any air purifier I have ever used. You simply turn the unit over, twist the bottom to unlock, drop the filter in, twist the bottom to lock, turn over and turn on. I recommend doing this on carpet so you don’t scratch the top display. The filter health is also easy to check in the app so you know when it is time to order a new one. Lastly, Alexa voice commands work great. If you want to talk to your air purifier and give it commands, you can do so. Smart homes have gotten more smart over the last few years. Now we can talk to our appliances too. Pretty soon, I expect to be able to tell my kitchen to make dinner 🙂
All in all, I can’t say enough good things about the Levoit Air Purifier. It is great looking, not too big, not too noisy, easy to program, easy to change filters, etc… If you are in the market for an air purifier, which IMHO everyone should be, I highly recommend the Levoit 400S.

This by far is my favorite unit. I love the cage that shows you how clean there is. After we had plugged the unit in it did not take but a couple to a few hours to breathe clearly. It also helped with my sleep. Also this has helped my pets. Especially my oriental short hair feline. he is not showing signs of asthma anymore . I will buy another unit. Thank you Levoit- to bad your other smaller units do not share the same capabilities. Let me add this is a HEPA 13.

Great air purifier! Works as I expected for and still great after while using, I feel comfortable with it, quietly operating, I would like to buy another one!

As a smoker, this air purification unit works great, eliminates smoke in no time. I have it set on auto and it fires up immediately after I lite up. Have noticed a big difference in dusting my place also. A little big for my studio but well worth it,
