Great display and Sony always makes the picture look good even on older content that isn’t 4k hdr. Colors are great even before adjusting. Motion is great as well but I’ve adjusted one tick on some motion controls just for my preference. Better than all the others at this price for various inputs.
You can see why OLEDs are a step up if you watch side by side, but this TV looks great anyway. The screen is glossy so in a room with bright windows and other lights it would be annoying.
Sound on this is very interesting because it is very immersive. No bass though. If that’s a problem you will need external sound and Sony sound bars can let you use both TV and sound bar at the same time.

This is my third Sony TV that I got in my life and this is the best Sony TV I’ve ever got. It has good upscaling, sound, and excellent picture quality. The colors are outstanding. I would definitely recommend this set.

I bought this TV to replace a 49″ x950H. I loved the x950, but it decided to give up the ghost. This TV is mostly used for nighttime watching of movies, streaming, and very little gaming. This TV is pretty comparable to the X950H, though I can see a little more blooming. This TV does everything I wanted and more. If I decided to do more gaming it would be perfect for that as well. I thought about going with the A80, but I know it would have had burn in eventually. As a replacement for the x950H this almost perfect.

Excellent picture and so easy to use remote. Lots of options to choose from. Goodby cable.
