Great television picture. Vivid and clear. We purchased it with the advice of the of the sales associate as being a good television for a bright room. It is good, but you can see the glare still on the screen and reflection of the lamps from the room when viewing darker scenes.

A couple of the biggest issues so callled professional reviewers have listed for the Bravia 7 are off angle viewing and reflections. I’ve had this TV for almost two weeks now, and I can honestly say I don’t see any issues with off angle viewing or reflections. Obviously, the screen has some reflection when it is off, but once it is on, there isn’t an issue. I mean, if you are watching a very dark movie, while sittting in a brightly lit room, with bay windows, and every light in the house on there may be an issue, but that’s what blinds and light switches are for. Picture processing is amazing in SDR and HDR. Upon rewatching some movies, I saw details and textures I didn’t know existed. Colors are very vibrant in SDR and HDR without being over saturated. Streaming even looks close or on par with disc. Gaming mode also looks great after a few minor adjustments. I thought my 2018 Vizio P65-f1 looked great, but after staring at this TV for a couple of weeks, I can definitely see what I was missing. If you get this TV you will not be disappointed. I’m convinced that they review these TVs in some absurd lighting conditions and from angles no one will ever be watching from.

The Bravia 7 is close to prefect. The color scale is amazing. The lights are vivid and the darks are deep. I wonder what the Bravia 9 is like. But I couldn’t afford the 9. And, I’m satisfied with the Bravia 7. Watching movies in 4K is almost like bringing cinema home.

The picture and google tv are great. The only cons so far is for the price the tv should have 4 hdmi 2.1 ports instead of 2 and the remote should have been rechargable instead of still requiring batteries.
