First, the pros: the screen quality is amazing for the price, and I liked that it has Dolby Vision. I also liked the HDMI 2.1 inputs. Sound is irrelevant since I connected it to my existing soundbar so that’s not an issue.
The one big con I have is the coil whine that happens every time the screen goes black either from switching apps or during a loading screen when I’m playing a game. At first I thought I got a bad apple, and Best Buy gave me a replacement. It was quiet the first day but then the coil whine started happening again.
I thought perhaps I could live with it but as time goes on it’s getting louder and gets very distracting so I’m just going to return it. It’s a shame because I really liked the TV.

I replaced my Samsung with TCL by friend suggestions. You can’t beat this TCL TV and price for what you get. Picture quality & sound is the best. From a software point of view, Roku software on this TCL BLOWS away the Samsung software. TCL TV is so much easier to use. After using TCL TV, I want to get a 75inch TV for my living room. I highly recommend TCL.

Great TV. I was hesitant because of other reviews about the sound issue, but the TV performs flawlessly. Great picture, fluid motion, awesome contrast, and the Roku platform is super fast compared to my TCL series 4 Roku TV. I would recommend turning off the Action Smoothing when watching a movie, to avoid the “soap opera effect” that is so common with these new TV’s. The new Star Wars series’s (Andor, Kenobi) were fun to watch on this new TV. Probably should leave Action Smoothing on for sports. There are a lot of customizable settings for picture and brightness. I found this impressive for a Roku platform TV.
I also bought a Polk Signa S4 sound bar and hooked it up, and the Dolby Atmos sound was really good. Super happy with this purchase.

This TV is great, my parents have an OLED and I wasnt sure how this would compare. For a fraction of the cost, this TV is so worth it.

This TV feels premium for a budget TV. It looks great (love the center position stand). the picture quality is on par with more expensive options. eARC is still a hit or miss when pairing with a soundbar. Another gripe is the TV Brightness setting is not independent of picture mode. I find myself selecting Darker for SDR and Brighter for HDR so I’m always switching back and fourth depending what I’m watching (SDR or HDR), a little annoying. Other than that the picture looks very good.
