I have several budget Tvs from hisense and LG bought the TCL Q5 65 for $399 and it’s has a great picture and colors thin bezel and all the connections I need sound is average I had a Yamaha sound bar which I connected by earc I would recommend and by this TV again great deal and TV for the money

I can see a display burn on the left of the screen. Its noticeably large, especially when the background colors are light. Its still within the returnable window, but I’m not sure if it will be replaced considering it as a defect. OS is noticeably slow, but that should be ok for most users.

What an amazing 65″ TV! I hooked it up yesterday, and the screen is nice and bright. The bezels are minimal and slim. I really like the Google TV aspect because I cannot stand Roku or FireTV UIs, and this eliminates all the quarks from those programs. The remote is fantastic as well because the buttons are nicely large and intuitive. I also want to talk about how the viewing angles are great. You can watch this TV from the side, which won’t be a problem since its direct-lit. The sound is nice and loud, with a little hint of DTS Virtual:X (don’t expect surround sound). I love it when I turn on a movie or TV show; the TV lets me know that it will activate Dolby Vision, which is helpful. Overall, this TV is everything that I wanted within this price range, and it fits so well in my living room. I took a chance to buy this brand because I wasn’t really familiar with TLC, and I’m so glad I did! I usually get Samsung, but I wanted something more affordable. Purchase this TV if you are looking for something amazing with a good price tag!

Purchased to replace a set after we moved and gave away our previous set to family. Wanted to step up to a QLED this time and the sale on this was perfect. I did have doubts as I purchased sight unseen and usually have had good results with Samsung. Free delivery was great. Picture is outstanding with no adjustments like I usually have to do. Color, brightness and sharpness are better than what we have had. I have only seen one motion blip so far but it was very minor. I have not had the slow response time from the remote like others have had, response has been usually immediate. We have a sound bar and rather than the optical set up I had to use an arc HDMI for remote function, so I don’t know about the set speakers alone. Right now I have to say this has been my best tv purchase as far as being satisfied with bang for buck, and we’ve purchased five over the last ten years due to moves.
