I like the overall quality of the unit. The sound needs some improvement.

This is my second TCL but first try of the Google OS. Both are very impressive. Fast, responsive and feature rich.

I had a replacement 58-in Westinghouse TV. I had seven TVs saved in my list to look at in the store. And I saw the picture on this TV compared to the Roku version of it, this was so much brighter. The salesman. Was extremely helpful and I am not disappointed with the amazing picture at home, the brightness, the quick menu changes. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone who doesn’t have to spend a fortune and get mind-blowing picture. I thought I would have trouble getting it up on my wall mount, but it only lays 30 lb.

Nice design, looks good. Picture is nice, but not super bright. It is a budget TV, so don’t expect OLED picture quality here. Google TV is snappy and the interface doesn’t lag much. It works well with a digital antenna and integrates nicely into GTV. The remote is easy to use, but doesn’t appear to offer IR control of other devices such as soundbars, so make sure whatever you hook up to it has CEC/ARC. My only real complaint about this TV is how long it takes to set up. It was seriously about an hour of Google updates, app installs I didn’t ask for, channel scanning, checking for updates again after it was already updated (why it does that I don’t know) and connecting to Google Home. The updates just took forever. This is a good TV for normal people that don’t obsess over RTINGS reviews and color accuracy. At the on-sale price I would recommend this TV, especially if you really only watch the news and some sports.
