Decided to give Vizio a try to replace my older Bose sound bar. This bar blows the Bose bar away. The bass from the wireless sub is awesome and rear surround speakers add so much more to watching movies.

The volume is not really high. Plus two back speakers barely work.

This is my 2nd Vizio sound bar, last one didn’t have surround speakers, but this one does. WOW! The satellite speakers make a huge difference when watching Netflix/Prime movies with Dolby Atmos. You feel like you’re in the movie! I also got a new Vizio 4K V655M-K04 TV which has this really cool feature called QuickFit, that allows you to attach the SV510X-0806 sound bar directly to the bottom of the TV, using the 2 included thumb screws. No need to install wall brackets (which my wife hates) to mount the sound bar. Just install the 2 screws to the bottom of the TV and attach the sound bar. That’s it! Seamless and very integrated design. 5-stars for sure!

I got this soundbar to replace an older Vizio soundbar (V51-H6). When I first plugged it in and tried it out, i thought it sounded great! Worked fantastic on my Apple TV. However, the problem came when i tried to play my Nintendo Switch. It does not work. It’ll play some sounds, but it wont play others. Eventually, the whole bar doesnt put out any sounds at all after some time. I played with the settings on the switch and the TV, but had no luck. Had to return this soundbar. So, if youre planning on using this as a soundbar for TV viewing only, then it’s great!
